The pier re-vitalised

St.Kilda Pier has been given a boost with the recent opening of the kiosk, re-built after the previous one was destroyed by fire in late 2003. With the kiosk open that means that the breakwater is now also accessible for that evening stroll. Look out for penguins, too!
I feel fortunate to live in this part of Melbourne, and those who know me may know that I have a large collection of photos taken down at the pier, during different seasons, different times of day, from various points of view. It's especially nice to visit late in an autumn afternoon, after a heavy rain.
